2025 Season is off to a Great Start!
As October begins, MHS is 4-0, with wins over Lynn English (21-6), Bishop Fenwick (26-20), Sheperd Hill (35-22), and North Andover (48-0). After a by-week, the Magicians will take on Beverly, Peabody, Masco, and Danvers (home) before play-offs begin. Marblehead will host Swampscott on Thanksgiving Day at Piper Field.
Coach Jim Rudloff is in his 16th season with Marblehead. Jim is the winningest coach in the program’s history (135-37). The 2025 captains are Declan Gibson, John Schieffer, Finn Gallup, Owen Dulac, Breydan Callahan, and Rylan Golden.

Coach Alex Kulevich Honored
The town recognized Kulevich’s distinguished career on Friday, July 25, with a formal ceremony at Piper Field, where it officially announce the renaming of the Marblehead High School athletic complex to the Alexander W. Kulevich, Jr. Athletic Complex.
Alex was the Head Football Coach from 1970-1980, served as Athletic Director for 20 years, and is a member of the Marblehead Magician’s Gridiron Club’s Hall of Fame.

Gratitude for Richardson’s Sideline Service
If you see Bill Richardson in his new parking space at Piper Field, please take the opportunity to thank him for his years of service to Marblehead Football. Bill recently retired from his 25+ years as a volunteer on the sideline “chain gang”. Bill also served as the President of Marblehead Youth Football and the Cape Ann Youth Football League.
